Sistema_non_autorizzato portrays contemporary reality as a condition that has, in every respect, become dystopian.

The work takes visual form through the confrontation between the characteristics of everyday life and those of the enclosed space. Architecture and urban planning are examined as elements capable of silently shaping human existence, while also reflecting and narrating it. The observation focuses on peripheral apartment blocks and surveillance structures. This type of schematic and standardized landscape recalls everyday life itself, likewise reduced to mere repetition with false possibilities of choice, where alternative ways of thinking and living are discouraged from the outset, and the individual is conditioned to function according to predetermined paths.

Alongside the representation of this urban space, the project includes a study concerning the possible consequences that an alienating condition of life can have on individuals. A facial recognition script and digital graphics introduce and accompany this section, emphasizing the coldness of profiling and the distance between machine and human.

The entire project questions the increasingly thin boundary between human and machine, our dependence on technological structures, and criticizes every form of social engineering aimed at turning life into a standardized system in which the individual is reduced to a number.
